Our Story

Hello and Welcome to Southern Sun Drones. 
My name is Mick Woods, Founder and Managing Director.
I am the 'we' in our story and our business!

I’ve been a teacher of Science and Technology most of my life, so Southern Sun Drones is a great opportunity for me to use my skills and knowledge. My technology bent, RC aircraft experience, photography and videography interests, as well my teaching skills, places me in a great position to assist people to get into Drones, Robots, Action Cameras and Gimbals with confidence and to help to expand their knowledge and skills. I am using my educational experience to seek out the best Educational Resources for our technology products that align with our Australian Curriculum. Whenever possible we will offer those Educational Resources FREE.
