Australia Post

Order Processing

It normally takes us 1 to 2 business days to process your order ready for shipment. During peak Sale times it may take us a little longer. There may also be other unusual instances where our ability to process your order in 1 to 2 business days is not feasible. We will contact you if there is a delay in processing.

Domestic Australian Shipping

Standard Shipping 

4 to 6 business days (including Order Processing and depending on where you are)

  • Charge;
    • FREE for orders worth $299 or more (including taxes but not including delivery)
    • Calculated at the checkout by your location and order weight for orders with a value less than $299 (including taxes but not including delivery)
  • Coverage; Most Australian Postcodes. If you live in a very remote area please refer to the Postcode Exclusion List.
  • Delivery Times (including processing and handling);
    • Capital Cities – 4 to 5 business days depending on where you are.
    • Country Locations – 5 to 6  business days depending on where you are.

    Express Shipping 

    3 to 4 business days (including Order Processing and depending on where you are)

    Note; LiPo batteries cannot be sent via air, and so in most cases cannot be sent by Express Post.

    Express Post

    • Delivered by Australia Post Express Parcel Post
    • Calculated at the checkout and dependent on your location and weight of your order.
    • Coverage; 80% of Australia. View postcodes outside Express Post Network.
    • Delivery Times (including processing and handling time);
      • Within Express Post Network – 3 to 4 business days depending on where you are.
      • Outside Express Post Network – As fast as possible. Usually 4 to 6 business days for listed postcodes.

    Signature Required

    All dispatches from Southern Sun Drones will usually require a signature on delivery to ensure the security of the delivered item. This policy may be varied by Australia Post depending on current circumstances such as COVID 19 restrictions..

    Use of Couriers

    Where we deem a courier service to be a better delivery option to a specific location we reserve the right to use a Courier at no extra cost to you. 

    If you specifically require a courier to deliver your purchases please contact us. In this instance the courier cost will be charged to you.

      International Shipping

      • We currently DO NOT ship to destinations outside Australia.

      Once your order has been shipped

      You will receive notifications from us as follows;

      • Advising that your order has been shipped. This may include your Tracking Number.
      • Advising your Tracking Number – You may have already received this number.
      • Advising that your order is out for delivery.
      • Advising that delivery has occurred.
      1. If your order has not arrived within the expected time we ask that you please wait a further 48 hours before contacting us. Sometimes, but rarely, deliveries can be interrupted for a variety of acceptable reasons.
      2. Shipping Times cannot be predicted with absolute precision because of the nature of goods transportation.

        Digital Products

        Paid Digital Products (eg DJI Care Refresh) 2 to 3 business days (including Order Processing)

        • Once your payment is confirmed, details of your product and how to use it will be sent to you in an email.
        • Processing time; 2 to 3 business days.

          FREE Instruction and Support Resources

          • Once you have processed these through the Checkout for FREE you will be presented with a link to download your product.
          • You will also be sent an email with the download link and instructions to download your product.
          • Note that you can download your resource as often as you like for FREE.
          • If the product is updated in the future you will be notified by email with a link to return and download the updated version
          • Processing time; immediately upon checkout

            ** Note: Business days are considered to be Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. Orders cannot be processed on weekends and Public Holidays.
